Medford, OR – According to the city officials, this closure is anticipated to last through April 28.

City officials also announced that a detour will be in place and will direct southbound traffic from Foothill Road to Cedar Links Drive, to Springbrook Road, to Lone Pine Road and back to Foothill Road.

Northbound traffic will have the opposite detour.

The detour will be signed with message boards providing advance notice and with detour signing along the route.

Contractors will be performing trenching across Foothill Road at the two Lone Pine Road power substations.

They’ll also be installing large concrete pipes — conduit —that will house power and communication lines between the two substations.
