MEDFORD, Ore. – The Medford Police Department announced Wednesday evening that Crater Lake Avenue will be closed for an extended period of time between Alpine Court and Temple Drive due to a serious crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.
The crash, which occurred earlier in the evening, resulted in the motorcyclist sustaining serious injuries. Emergency responders transported the individual to the hospital for treatment.
In response to the incident, the Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) team has been dispatched to investigate the crash. The team is working to determine the exact cause of the collision, though details remain limited at this time.
