MPD has arrested a suspect in the murder of Aaron Mather, whose body was discovered on the Bear Creek Greenway near Railroad Park last week

Medford, OR – According to the police officials, investigators developed 43-year-old Richard Kemo John Hall as a person of interest in Mather’s death during the course of the homicide investigation.

The investigators learned that Hall may have been camping in the area where Mather’s body was found.

According to the police officials, the suspect was walking on foot along the Greenway north of Railroad Park shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. He tried to run away, but officers caught up with him after a short chase on foot.
