Police officials said the young mom, later identified as Jazmin, was arrested and taken into custody after she reportedly wanted to hire a hitman to kill her 3-year-old son. On Monday, 18-year-old Gamiel was also arrested after he reportedly ‘pushed the mother’ to hire a hitman on a parody website for the most unbelievable reason. The messages between the two also revealed that Jazmin may have tried to get her son eaten by bears in the woods or attempted to drown him in the water.

Gamiel reportedly told the boy’s mother to hire a hitman to kill her 3-year-old child in order to win him back because the child was nothing but a problem, police said. Investigators uncovered his text messages to Jazmin.“The kid is the problem, I hope you see that all I ever wanted was to free you,” he allegedly texted. “I told you about the kid, you won’t do anything … you do it, and I’ll think about coming back.”

Gamiel reportedly demanded pictures as proof that Jazmin went through with the crime. The mother eventually went on to the parody website, where the website’s owner, Robert, flagged police after believing the request for a hit was a serious one as opposed to the hundreds of parodies he sees every day. Unlike other requests, the one Jazmin allegedly sent included pictures of her son and details on his exact location for a hit to occur, according to court records. After confirming that the request to kill the child for $3,000 came from Jazmin’s computer, police arrested her, the NYP reported.

Both suspects were taken into custody and later charged with first-degree murder conspiracy and unlawful use of a communications device. He was given a $15,000 bond and ordered to have no contact with the 3-year-old boy or anyone under the age of 18 without supervision. The unidentified 3-year-old boy has been placed in the custody of relatives, with the Department of Children and Families overseeing the case.
