Police officials said the young mother, later identified as Jasmin, reportedly looked for a hitman through the fake website RentaHitman.com to kill her 3-year-old son. The mother was arrested and taken into custody after trying to use a parody service to rent a hitman to kill her toddler son. The mom is accused of submitting pictures of her infant son and the exact location he was going to be, court documents obtained by NBC Miami show.

Investigators posing as the for-hire killer spoke with the mother to flesh out the boy’s execution, during which time the boy’s mother allegedly agreed to hand over $3,000 for her son’s murder. After matching her IP address to the home of Jasmin and speaking with the child’s grandmother — who verified that the intended target was Jasmin’s child, authorities arrested her. the mother was charged with first-degree solicitation of murder and third-degree using a communications device for unlawful use, court records show.

The boy’s mother currently remains held at jail. Her son is in the safe custody of family, according to investigators. The man who operates the fake murder-for-hire site was the one who tipped them off to Jasmin’s scheme, investigators said. Robert, who receives a couple hundreds of hitman solicitations per day, said Jasmin’s request was too specific and urgent. ‘The ability to research names and addresses and verify the intended target lived in a particular address.

That to me is a red flag. If that information is corroborated, to me that is something that needs to be looked at and that’s why I referred it,’ Innes told NBC Miami. Robert claims police initially not taking his flag seriously, going so far as to threaten him with a cease-and-desist letter if he continued contacting them. The RentAHitman site has led to the arrest of dozens of people looking to pass off the murder act to someone else. In an online form, the mother allegedly wrote she wanted to have her son killed “to get something done once and for all.” Her extra request was “to be taken away, far, far, far away and possibly be killed but ASAP.”
