Rogue Credit Union Raises Over $200,000 for Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center

Medford, OR – Rogue Credit Union (RCU), based in Medford, has raised more than $200,000 to support the pediatrics unit at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. The funds, collected throughout the past year, will be directed toward enhancing care in the Olsrud Family Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

In a heartwarming gesture, RCU’s leadership team, accompanied by Wally the Wolf, the mascot for the Rogue Rangers program, visited Asante in December to present a check for the substantial donation. The team also brought along a wagon filled with Wally the Wolf stuffed animals, which were given to children receiving care at the hospital.

“We are proud to support such an important cause in our community,” said an RCU representative. “The pediatrics unit at Asante plays a crucial role in the well-being of children in our region, and we are honored to contribute to its continued success.”

The donation will help fund various programs and resources within the pediatrics unit, aiming to improve the overall patient experience and provide essential services for young patients. The stuffed animals, a thoughtful addition to the donation, are expected to bring comfort to the children who will be spending time at the hospital.

This generous initiative highlights Rogue Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to community involvement and supporting local healthcare efforts, particularly for the youngest and most vulnerable patients in the region.
