    Man claims he became defensive when his girlfriend threw the crock pot towards him and came at him with a knife for slicing vegetable the wrong way after he stabbed the woman to death and then took a shower and waited for an hour before calling 911!

    According to the police officials, the 60-year-old husband, later identified as CharIes, was arrested and later charged with murder in connection with his girIfriend’s death. During an interview with investigators, the man reportedly said after the 64-year-old woman, Marci, came at him with a knife for cutting oni0ns the wrong way. But, prosecutors said that the crime scene appeared to be staged and that the weapons next to his girlfriend’s body were placed neatly.

    Per reports, CharIes called 911 and told the dispatcher that he and his girlfriend were having an argument. The man then told the dispatcher that his girlfriend came at him holding a knife. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

    When questioned by the responding officers, CharIes reportedly said that he was cutting onions and his girIfriend stated that he wasn’t doing it correctly. The 64-year-old victim then came at him with a knife, CharIes also told investigators. The responding officers reportedly didn’t saw chopped onion anywhere in the kitchen.

    Per reports, the 60-year-old man also told investigators that he called 911 one hour after he stabbed his girlfriend. Authorities believe CharIes also showered before calling 911. According to the police officials, there were no signs that CharIes attempted to help his girlfriend or seek medical help.
