Police officials said the mother, later identified as 32-year-old Amy, was taken into custody and later charged with child neglect without great bodily harm after she reportedly took her son with her to a hotel room where she used drugs, drank alcohol, smoked marijana and had group intrcourse with two men. Police officials said that one of the men reportedly died overnight, just several feet where the 11-year-old boy was sleeping.

According to Sheriff rick, the child was reportedly stuck alone in the room with the deceased male for several hours until she came back. Deputies and first responders arrived on scene and began life-saving procedures on a 60-year-old unresponsive man. Unfortunately, the adult male was pronounced dead. During an interview with investigators, the mother reportedly said that she had been staying in the hotel room with the deceased man and another 52-year-old man.

The mother also had her 11-year-old son with her on the scene. The cause of death was not immediately clear. The responding deputies reportedly found marijuana, Vi-gra pills, burnt blunts and a silver tray with a white powdery substance that appeared to be c0caine inside the room. The mother also told investigators that she met up with 5 men at a bar where they stayed until about 2 a.m. before picking up her son from his grandmother’s house and going back to the hotel room. They all drank, smoked, and did c0caine until three of the men left so that she and the two remaining men could have group se* in the room.

Shortly after their activities stopped, the mother said that she heard the 60-year-old man having a medical episode, but quickly stopped and they decided he was sleeping. The 52-year-old man and the mother left the room and were gone for several hours, leaving her son behind. They returned 5 hours later and found the 60-year-old man unresponsive and cold in bed, which is when they called 911. According to the Sheriff’s Office, it’s important to note that her son was left alone in the hotel room with the unresponsive 60-year-old, drug paraphernalia, and se* items for numerous hours.
