    Wife sent her husband message that caused him concern for the well-being of their 11-month-old baby after she grabbed two knives, wrapped the infant in shower curtain inside the bathtub and used the knives to cut his neck; arrested

    Police officials said the mom, later identified as 30-year-old April, was taken into custody and later charged with murder with an aggravating circumstance after she reportedly killed her baby. The woman reportedly grabbed a knife and used it to cut the neck of her baby. The baby was rushed to the local hospital, but doctors were unable to save him, per reports. The couple’s two other children, 6 and 11, were home when their little brother was killed.

    Last week, the 30-year-old woman sent her husband a concerning message which made him become worried for the well-being of his children. Prosecutors said that the concerning message made references to God and said, “The days of darkness are upon us,” prompting him to call his wife who did not pick up. The baby’s father, James, returned home and reportedly found his wife barricaded in their primary bedroom with the baby and two other children. The concerned husband and father-of-three called the authorities immediately.

    The responding officers arrived on scene when the 30-year-old woman left the barricaded room and attempted to run away when an officer stopped her. James realized that his. baby was not with his wife. He then went into the bathroom and screamed in dsbelief. The responding officers found the baby wrapped in plastic with apparent wounds and bleeding from the neck. The baby was rushed to the hospital where he later died. During an interview with investigators, April’s and James’ 6-year-old child, who was not identified due to her age, reportedly said that his mother grabbed two knives and told them that she ‘was going to help get the baby to God and Jesus.’

    The mother also told her other children that they shouldn’t come into the bathroom because it might be really scary. She then went into the bathroom with the baby and two knives. When the mother came back, she reportedly told her other two children that she had cut the baby so that he could be with Jesus and God. The 30-year-old mom also told the 6-year-old daughter that she would cut their neck as well if she didn’t stop crying. During an interview with investigators, the 30-year-old mother reportedly admitted to killing the baby. The woman also admitted to knowing that her actions were wrong and evil.
