Medford, OR — Emergency crews have successfully contained a two-alarm structure fire in the 1000 block of Rossanley Drive, which broke out earlier today, prompting a full response from multiple fire and emergency services.

According to initial reports, the Medford Fire Department, Jackson County Fire District 3, and Jacksonville Fire crews were dispatched to the scene after the fire was first reported. Firefighters worked quickly to control the blaze, taking necessary precautions to protect nearby homes and businesses. As the fire spread, multiple fire and police units were stationed at the scene, while efforts to manage traffic in the area were implemented.

To facilitate the operation of first responders, Rossanley Drive was closed at Cheshire Way, creating a perimeter around the affected area. This closure allowed crews to work without obstruction as they tackled the fire.

By 2:15 PM, authorities confirmed that the fire had been knocked down and was fully under control. Firefighters remained on site to monitor for any potential hot spots, while investigators began their work to determine the origin and cause of the fire. The property owners are reportedly cooperating with authorities as they look into the incident.

At this time, no information regarding the extent of property damage or any injuries has been released. However, officials have indicated that updates will be provided as more details emerge from the ongoing investigation.

By late afternoon, the roadway was reopened to traffic, and the situation was largely under control. Local authorities are continuing to monitor the scene and work to uncover the specifics behind the blaze.

As the investigation unfolds, Medford residents are advised to stay informed through official channels for further updates.
