Medford, OR – Medford Municipal Court brought its Outreach Court program to the Medford Police Department’s Livability Team Fall Resource Fair last week, connecting community members with court services and local resources.
The City of Medford said the program helps people experiencing homelessness or housing instability address legal challenges and work toward a fresh start.
By bringing court services directly to the resource fair, the initiative aims to make assistance more accessible to people who may face barriers to navigating the legal system.
The event also connected attendees with local resources intended to support community members experiencing housing instability.
The city said the outreach effort is part of the work to help individuals address legal issues while connecting them with services that can support their next steps.
