Medford, OR – A car was completely engulfed in flames late Saturday night in Selma, prompting a response from the Illinois Valley Fire Department.

Firefighters arrived at the scene, located off Forest Creek Road, shortly after 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, crews quickly worked to suppress the fire and prevent further damage. The car was already well alight when emergency responders reached the location, but no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by local authorities. At this time, fire officials have not provided additional details regarding potential factors that may have led to the blaze.

This incident is the latest in a series of emergency calls the Illinois Valley Fire Department has responded to in recent weeks. Fire officials urge residents to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity or unsafe conditions that could lead to fire hazards.

Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
