Police officials said the 47-year-old woman, later identified as Ina, was taken into custody and charged with AA felony murder after she reportedly killed her 51-year-old boyfriend, Steven. Authorities say the woman poisoned her boyfriend with antifreeze. The fatal incident occurred just hours after the 51-year-old man inherited $30 million. Authorities say the woman was charged on Monday.

Police officials said the 51-year-old victim reportedly became ill when he met his attorney to collect the inheritance. His girlfriend didn’t called for help until the next day. Steven was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities believe the woman killed her boyfriend after she discovered that he planned to leave her after the inheritance.

The medical examiner told investigators that Steven was killed after ingesting an additive for vehicles, antifreeze. Police officials also said that Ina didn’t took her boyfriend to be treated, despite telling others he had gone to a local clinic, and did not obtain any medical treatment for him for more than 10 hours after he began showing severe symptoms.

Ina also claimed that she was entitled to the massive fortune as his common-law wife. But, however, the state does not recognize such relationships. According to the police officials, Steven reportedly revealed his plans to break off the relationship shortly after receiving the inheritance sum. According to the court documents, Ina is being held without bond and is representing herself.
