Medford, OR, – According to the city officials, this free event takes place on Saturday, May 20 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Officials also announced that this event is also family and dog friendly.

Ladies and gentlemen, Medford Open Streets will promote healthy active living through a free community event opening the city’s largest public space – its streets – to walk, bike, roll, and discover active transportation while fostering civic pride, stimulating economic development, and showcasing the diverse community, business, and government investments in Medford.

The City received a $5,000 Micro-mobility Grant from the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), which helps support Open Streets programming, bicycle safety and maintenance education.

The City has also received sponsorships from Rogue Credit Union, United Way and Medford Traffic Control Services for this event.
