    Medford Police Department officials announced that they are currently hiring a Community Engagement Service Officer, Code Enforcement Officer and Background Investigator

    Medford, OR – According to the Medford Police Department officials, the Community Engagement Service Officer is responsible for the organization and direction of our volunteer staff.

    They are the liaison for the police department to Neighborhood Watch and other community groups.

    The Code Enforcement Officer performs inspections and investigations on a multitude of reported issues including but not limited to abandoned vehicles, accumulation of junk, graffiti, noise violations, or business license violations.

    The Background Investigator is responsible for conducting personal and professional background investigations for public safety candidates as well as other special circumstances. They also prepare reports on findings and make recommendations based on what they find.
