Medford, OR – According to the Medford Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday. It happened near the Rogue Valley Country Club at 2660 Hillcrest Rd. The fire appeared to have started from maintenance equipment and extended into nearby trees and an exterior building on the property. Officials later released a statement and said that the fire is out and crews are working on getting Hillcrest Road cleared. This incident remains under investigation.

The cooling shelter will be located at the former Kelly Shelter (324 West 6th Street) and will be open from 12 – 8 p.m. The cooling shelter will provide water, restrooms, snacks, and cooling area and water for pets. The Oregon Occupational Safety and Health administration has issued 159 citations to employers for violating COVID-19 safety requirements since the start of the pandemic. Medford, OR – According to the police officials, investigators developed 43-year-old Richard Kemo John Hall as a person of interest in Mather’s death during the course of the homicide investigation. The investigators learned that Hall may have been camping in the area where Mather’s body was found. Medford, OR – According to the court documents, his name is Kenneth Ayers and he was sentenced in Jackson County Circuit Court for three counts of attempted murder, five counts of unlawful use of a weapon, three counts of reckless endangerment, and four counts of criminal mischief. Kenneth Ayers pleaded guilty to the charges last week. Multiple drivers reported to authorities that their vehicles had sustained damage from bullets. Last August a woman was shot and injured while driving.
