Medford, OR – 69 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the Jackson County Public Health. Unfortunately, the JCPH reported 3more deaths due to coronavirus, bringing the local death toll to 69 since the pandemic began. According to the Jackson County Public Health officials, a 79-year-old man tested positive on November 22 and died December 27 at Providence Medford Medical Center. Another 79-year-old man tested positive on December 18 and died December 26 at Ashland Community Hospital. Both men had underlying conditions. MEDFORD, Ore. — According to the police report, the state troopers arrested 49-year-old Kenneth Ayers in August following a string of shootings between Douglas, Josephine, and Jackson counties — one of which injured a woman near Central Point. And, this former UPS driver accused of shooting at drivers, has been indicted on 34 counts in Jackson County Circuit Court, the county District Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday. Lawmakers set aside around $150 million to pay landlords up to 80 percent of what they’re owed by renters. Medford police confirmed to Newswatch 12 that the incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night on Main Street. Police say the stabber called police claiming the victim tried to attack him.
