Medford, Ore. – The City of Medford is inviting residents to an open house at the Holly Theatre this Thursday evening to discuss updates on the Downtown 2040 Plan. The event, which will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., will provide an opportunity for the public to review the draft of the plan, highlight areas of concern, and offer feedback on the vision for downtown’s future.

The Downtown 2040 Plan is part of a long-term initiative aimed at revitalizing and improving the downtown area. City officials have been gathering input from the community over the past few months, and Thursday’s open house will be a key moment for residents to engage with the plan and help shape its direction.

For those unable to attend the in-person event, an online open house will be available on the city’s project webpage for two weeks, allowing more people to participate and provide their thoughts on the proposed changes.

In addition to discussing the Downtown 2040 Plan, attendees will also have the chance to tour the newly restored Holly Theatre, a highlight of the evening. The theater’s restoration is part of the city’s broader efforts to preserve and enhance the cultural and historic assets of downtown Medford.

This open house serves as a critical moment for Medford residents to make their voices heard as the city prepares for the future of its downtown core.
