Police officials said the 27-year-old mother, later identified as Crystal, and both babysitters, 45-year-old Linda 50-year-old Michael, were arrested and later charged with child abuse resulting in injury and child neglect causing serious bodily injury after they reportedly abused Crystal’s children. Prosecutors said the children, 3-year-old, 4-year-old and 6-year-old, who were not identified due to their age, were severely beaten.

The unfortunate children were rushed to the local hospital with serious injuries. The doctors told investigators that the children reportedly suffered internal bleeding on their heads and faces and pressure wounds on their but-oks, which doctors believe is caused because the children were forced into maintaining the same position for an unnecessary period of time. The doctors also told authorities that the children were covered in bruises.

They had bruises on their arms, legs, chests, backs and faces. The 3-year-old was struck severely in the head resulting in the blod vessels in the eye to burst. During an interview with investigators, the children reportedly said that Michael was the one who hits them. During an interview with investigators, the children’s mother reportedly said that she knew of some prior abuse. The 27-year-old woman also said that she leaves her 3 children with Michael and Linda to babysit them while she is working.

The woman also told authorities that she realized that Michael was hitting the children approximately two weeks prior to this complaint. The mother also spoke with them about hitting the children. The 27-year-old mother told authorities that she was then threatened by Michael. The 50-year-old man allegedly said he would kill her children if she went to the police. Prosecutors say Linda was an active participant of the beatings. Per reports, the 27-year-old mother was also present and witnessed the abuse and beatings and never attempted to stop or report it.
