CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – The Oregon Cheese Festival, a beloved annual event, is in full swing at the Jackson County Expo, drawing cheese enthusiasts and food lovers from across the region. The festival, which runs through Sunday, April 27, has become a key highlight for those who appreciate the art of cheese making, alongside a variety of locally crafted foods and beverages.

With over 100 artisan cheese makers on hand, the event offers a diverse selection of handcrafted cheeses that range from creamy to tangy, with something to satisfy every palate. Attendees can also enjoy a curated selection of specialty foods including charcuterie, jams, chocolates, and other local delicacies.

In addition to cheese, the festival showcases nearly 30 local producers offering a variety of drinks, including wine, beer, cider, and spirits. Visitors can sample these beverages, adding a special touch to the culinary experience.

The event is open to all ages on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., providing plenty of time for families and individuals to explore. General admission tickets allow access to unlimited cheese, food, and non-alcoholic samples. Those looking to enhance their experience can purchase additional tastings of wine, beer, or spirits for an extra cost.

Tickets for the event are available both online and at the door. Children’s tickets are priced at $5, while adult tickets are $30. For those who want an exclusive experience, a VIP Early Entry option was available on Saturday, which allowed attendees to start their day at 10:30 a.m. and enjoy a two-day food and drink pass for $85.

Whether attendees are looking to sample new cheeses, enjoy local beverages, or simply take in the vibrant atmosphere, the Oregon Cheese Festival continues to be a standout event in the region’s culinary calendar.
